Celebration of the feast of Mount Carmel
The Carmel Day 2026 was celebrated with great devotion, joy, and gratitude at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, in the gracious presence of Reverend Mothers, Provincial Councillors, Superiors, Principals, Sisters, teachers, supporting staff, novices, candidates, and invited guests from various Carmel institutions.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial placing of the statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, followed by a graceful Angel Dance, the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, and a melodious prayer song, invoking God's blessings upon the gathering. A vibrant welcome dance by the teachers of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, BHEL, added colour and enthusiasm to the occasion.
Rev. Sr. Rose Tom, Principal of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, delivered the welcome address, after which the dignitaries were honoured with bouquets and saplings as symbols of gratitude and environmental stewardship. The cultural programme featured an inspiring dance drama by the teachers of Carmel Ratanpur, a thought-provoking mime by Mount Carmel School, and an entertaining skit by the teachers of Carmel BHEL.
The gathering was further enriched by the inspiring Presidential Address of Rev. Mother Sr. Pavithra, Provincial Superior of Mount Carmel Province, Bhopal. A highlight of the celebration was the felicitation of the Silver Jubilee staff members who completed 25 years of dedicated service. The programme continued with a joyful cake-cutting ceremony, prize distribution, a vibrant celebration dance, and a grand finale showcasing the unity of the Carmel family.
The celebration concluded with the Vote of Thanks and the Carmel Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to continue the mission of faith, service, excellence, and love.
