Slogan Writing Competition
on ‘Women Power’ - Nari Pakhwada Week

It was celebrated on 21st April 2026 at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur.
This program was organized for students of Grades 6 to 8
On the topic Nari Pakhwada Week 2026

The highlights of the
competition aimed to create awareness about women’s empowerment, gender equality, and respect for women among students. It encouraged young learners to express meaningful ideas on Nari Shakti in a concise and creative manner, aligning with NEP 2020 goals of value-based education.

The following events were conducted;
The Slogan Writing Competition was held during school hours in the auditorium. Over 80 students from Grades 6 to 8 participated enthusiastically. Each participant was given 30 minutes to write an original slogan on the theme ‘Women Power’.

Students presented thought-provoking slogans in Hindi and English, highlighting themes such as education for girls, equal opportunities, respect for mothers, and women’s role in Viksit Bharat 2047 Some notable slogans were:
“Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Desh Ko Aage Badhao."
"She is not weak, she is power – Respect every hour”
“Nari ka Samman, Desh ka Abhiman”

The Judgement Criteria on the entries were judged by a panel of 3 teachers on the basis of:
Originality- Uniqueness of thought
Relevance- Connection to theme of women empowerment
Presentation- Neatness, clarity, and impact

Finally, the competition was a great success. It provided a platform for students to showcase creativity and develop 21st century skills of communication and critical thinking.

All winners were awarded certificates and trophies by the Principal. All participants received appreciation cards and were applauded for their efforts.

Lastly, the Slogan Writing Competition effectively sensitized students towards gender equality and the importance of Nari Shakti. It encouraged them to express powerful ideas in few words – a vital skill for the 21st century. The event concluded with the Principal’s address, who motivated students to respect and support women in all spheres of life.
