MENTAL WELLNESS AND HEALTH PROGRAM FOR PARENTS

Mental Wellness and Health Program for Parents
A Mental Wellness and Health Program for Parents was organized on 14 March 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The session was conducted by Mrs. Garima Dahima, Educationist, Trainer, and Consultant, and President of Arghya Educational Welfare Society. The program began with a warm welcome followed by a prayer song that created a positive and reflective atmosphere. The resource person, Mrs. Garima Dahima, was formally welcomed with a bouquet as a token of appreciation.
During the session, Mrs. Dahima highlighted the importance of mindful parenting and the role of parents in supporting the mental well-being of their children. She emphasized that good parenting begins in the early years and that parents should actively engage with their children in their daily lives. She advised parents to restrict excessive mobile phone usage among children and encourage them to participate in day-to-day activities and meaningful social interactions. She also stressed that fathers should play an active role in communicating and bonding with their children. The program concluded with an interactive session in which parents shared their concerns and asked questions, making the session highly engaging and informative for all participants.
