SAHODAYA PRIZE DISTRIBUTION

Sahodaya Prize Distribution Ceremony 2026- 20 June 2026

Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur had the privilege of hosting the Sahodaya Prize Distribution Ceremony 2026 in its school auditorium. The grand event celebrated the outstanding achievements of students who excelled in the CBSE Board Examination 2026.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the Vice-President of the Sahodaya Complex, Rev. Sr. RomTom C.M.C. She extended a heartfelt welcome to the Chief Guest, Shri Arvind Kumar Chauragade, Joint Director Public Distribution Bhopal Division, along with Rev. Fr. Thomas, President of the Sahodaya Complex, Mr. Shibu Pillai Secretary, Mr. Shylesh Kumar Joint secretary Rev. Sr. Bency Finance Officer, Mr.P.K. Pathak, Principal of Rajiv Gandhi Senior Secondary School, the executive members of the Sahodaya Complex, all the Principals, teachers, parents, and students.

In her welcome address, Rev.Sr. RomTom emphasized the spirit of mutual learning and collective growth. She encouraged the students with the inspiring message: "Continue to dream big, remain humble, welcome every opportunity that comes your way, and always strive towards excellence."

As a mark of respect and gratitude, saplings were presented to the dignitaries. The programme formally began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge, hope, and service, followed by a soulful prayer song invoking God's blessings upon the gathering.

The Chief Guest, Shri Arvind Kumar Chauragade, addressed the audience with an inspiring and thought-provoking speech. He encouraged students to have clear goals in life while remaining open to diverse career opportunities. He stressed that the true meaning of life lies in hard work, dedication, and continuous learning. He reminded the students that success naturally follows those who are committed to excellence. He also highlighted the importance of transforming work culture and compared parents to nurturing trees that lovingly protect and support their children until they become strong and fruitful individuals.

Appreciating the noble role of teachers, he remarked that educators possess the power to transform lives, citing renowned teachers like Khan Sir and Anand Sir as examples of dedicated mentors who inspire millions. He emphasized that true leaders nurture and uplift others, helping them grow into responsible citizens.

The dignitaries conveyed their best wishes for the continued progress of the nation and expressed their hope that Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School would continue to scale greater heights by producing many more shining stars in the years to come.

The highlight of the ceremony was the felicitation of 95 CBSE Board toppers from 79 schools affiliated with the Sahodaya Complex. The young achievers were honoured with awards and certificates in recognition of their exceptional academic excellence. The ceremony concluded on a joyful and inspiring note, celebrating dedication, perseverance, and the pursuit of excellence.
