CYBER SECURITY AWARENESS PROGRAMME
A Cyber Security Awareness Programme was organised on 01.09.26 by Quick Heal Company at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, Bhopal, with the objective of creating awareness among students about the safe and responsible use of digital technology. The programme focused on common cyber threats such as phishing, online fraud, identity theft, cyberbullying, hacking and misuse of personal information.
Students were sensitised about the importance of creating strong and unique passwords, enabling two-factor authentication and keeping their devices and applications updated. They were advised not to share passwords, OTP, personal details or confidential information with unknown persons. The session also highlighted the need to verify suspicious links, emails, messages and websites before clicking on them.
Through practical examples and interactive discussion, students learnt how to recognise online risks and respond appropriately to cyber incidents. The programme encouraged students to become responsible digital citizens and use the internet safely, ethically and wisely.
