NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

A special assembly was organised on 12 January to commemorate National Youth Day, marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a great philosopher and youth icon of India. The assembly was conducted with great enthusiasm and reverence by the students of Class VII D.
The programme began with a brief introduction highlighting the significance of National Youth Day and the inspiring life of Swami Vivekananda. This was followed by a prayer song, which created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere in the assembly ground. Thought-provoking quotes and thoughts of Swami Vivekananda were shared, motivating students to believe in their inner strength and potential.
A meaningful song and skit were presented, focusing on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, especially his message of self-confidence, service to humanity and dedication towards success. The performance was well appreciated by the audience. A short video based on his teachings further reinforced his vision for the youth of India.
The assembly concluded with a motivating message on youth empowerment, followed by the news reading and the pledge, wherein students resolved to follow the values of discipline, hard work and patriotism.
The special assembly was informative, inspiring and left a lasting impression on everyone present, reminding the youth of their responsibility in nation-building.
