REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, Misrod, Bhopal, marked the Republic Day of India with a profound sense of patriotism and fervor. The event was organized to honor the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to cultivate a spirit of national pride among the student community.
The day’s proceedings commenced with the formal unfurling of the National Flag, a solemn salute to the nation, and the collective singing of the National Anthem. This was followed by a March of Honour to welcome the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Antony Perumanoor.
A series of thoughtfully curated cultural performances embodied the themes of unity and devotion to the nation. A disciplined and synchronized P.T. display demonstrated the students’ dedication, while artistic presentations such as Blooming Buds of Bharat, Melody of Patriotism, and Rhythm of Freedom captivated all in attendance.
Special Assembly of VII A further enriched the celebration. It began with a prayer song and a Bible reading, establishing a reflective tone. Students then presented a poignant skit on the architects of the Indian Constitution, eloquently underscoring the pivotal contributions of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The performance effectively communicated the enduring values enshrined in the Constitution and their relevance to contemporary life. The assembly also featured a vibrant patriotic dance.
The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Antony Perumanoor, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, urging students to embrace their roles as conscientious and responsible citizens. A prize distribution ceremony was held to recognize and applaud students and Teachers' achievements across various domains.
The program drew to a close with stirring patriotic songs and dynamic dance performances, culminating in a formal vote of thanks. The event served as a powerful catalyst, igniting a enduring commitment to civic responsibility and national unity.
