Cadet Sanidhya Sangeene, representing the 2 MP Air Squadron NCC, Bhopal, has earned distinguished recognition for his successful participation in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026. The premier national camp culminated with the ceremonial parade in New Delhi on 26 January 2026. SAHODAY INTER-SCHOOL SKATING COMPETITION
Jaijeet Singh Khalsa of VIII C secured a gold medal at the Sahoday Inter-School Skating Competition.
Rashi Sharma,a student of XI-A, represented the Bhopal Division at the 69th State Level Athletics Meet held from 1st to 5th November 2025 at Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, in the U-19 Girls category (SGFI School Games). She won the Gold Medal in High Jump and has been selected for the SGFI National Championship, scheduled to be held in the fourth week of November at Bhiwani, Haryana.

CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament (U-19 Boys)
Carmel Convent, Ratanpur, secured the 3rd position in the CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament (U-19 Boys) held at Neill World School, Guna, Gwalior, competing among 32 participating schools.
Ms. Rashi Sharma of Carmel Ratanpur has been distinguishedly chosen for the esteemed National Games, a recognition of her remarkable achievement in the CBSE U19 Girls High Jump event. This prestigious competition, expertly hosted by GD Goenka Public School, Guna Road, Gwalior, was held from August 28 to August 31, 2025. The National Games are scheduled to convene at the renowned St. Atulanand Convent School, Varanasi, from September 10 to September 13, 2025.
INTER-SCHOOL U-19 BOYS VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION
An Inter-School U-19 Boys’ Volleyball Competition was organised at TT Nagar Stadium on National Sports Day, with 15–16 schools participating. Our school team excelled and proudly clinched the First Prize.

AIMING FOR EXCELLENCE
On 28 April ' 25 , 28 cadets from Carmel Ratanpur’s 2 MP Air Squadron visited the firing range at Hamidia College of Arts and Commerce for a practical training session. The cadets were introduced to the components of a .22 bore rifle and learned proper handling and firing techniques. Each cadet was given five rounds to fire from a distance of 25 yards, aiming at a target paper with concentric rings to score points based on accuracy. Despite the rifle’s weight of 2.41 kg, the cadets enthusiastically participated, demonstrating focus and discipline throughout the exercise. The experience provided them with valuable insight into the skills and dedication required by soldiers in the field, fostering a deeper appreciation for military service. The session concluded successfully, with the cadets gaining confidence in marksmanship and firearm safety.
ST. THOMAS CUP INTERSCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Our school emerged victorious in the prestigious St. Thomas Cup Interschool Basketball Tournament, securing the First Prize. The event witnessed intense competition among several schools, showcasing remarkable talent and teamwork. Our team displayed exceptional skill, coordination, and determination throughout the matches, outshining their opponents. FIRING ACTIVITY AT HAMIDIA COLLEGE OF ARTS AND COMMERCE
14 cadets from Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School participated in the firing activity at Hamidia College of Arts and Commerce on 25 October 2024. The cadets were briefed by MWO Pandey , corporal Suleman. The cadets learned and had experience on how to aim, fire at the target, procedure of firing , types of firing position, how to use the .22 mark rifle. They were given 5 live rounds each. They had hands on experience with the arms and ammunition.

Our school chess team participated in the SGFI State Level Chess Tournament held at Dolphin Club, Narmadapuram, M.P., from October 14-18, 2024. Abhishrey Sharma and Vikram Singh Rajput represented our school, displaying exceptional skill and strategy. CARMEL CONVENT SCHOOL EMERGES VICTORIOUS IN KHELO CHESS INDIA INTER SCHOOL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP!
Sage School organized Khelo India Inter School Chess Tournament on 19/7/2024 in Sage International School, Kolar . A total of 210 students from 18 schools in Bhopal participated in the 2nd Khelo Chess India Inter School Chess Championship. The competition was held in three categories: Under 12 Boys, Under 19 Boys, and Girls. Carmel Convent School excelled in the Under-19 Team Championship, securing the top position with 22 points. Our school (U- 19 Boy's) got Overall championship trophy and Abhishrey Sharma secured bronze medal .The winning team comprised of Abhishrey Sharma ,Mrityunjay Gohal,Vikram Singh Rajput ,Sparsh Jain ,Sajal Shrivastava ,Naitik Maran.
