Cadet Sanidhya Sangeene, representing the 2 MP Air Squadron NCC, Bhopal, has earned distinguished recognition for his successful participation in the Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2026. The premier national camp culminated with the ceremonial parade in New Delhi on 26 January 2026. This singular accomplishment constitutes a historic milestone for Carmel School, Ratanpur, marking the institution’s third selection for the RDC. Cadet Sangeene exemplifies versatility and dedication, with a commendable record of achievement across diverse fields. An accomplished badminton player, he has competed with distinction at the district, zonal, and state levels. His sporting portfolio includes participation in the CAPT Bhopal District Tournament, CBSE Cluster Zonal Championship, MP State Sub-Junior Championship, and the MP Badminton League in Indore. Further underscoring his athletic commitment, he contributed to a world record event for maximum teenage participation in badminton. SAHODAY INTER-SCHOOL SKATING COMPETITION

Jaijeet Singh Khalsa of VIII C secured a gold medal at the Sahoday Inter-School Skating Competition.

Rashi Sharma,a student of XI-A, represented the Bhopal Division at the 69th State Level Athletics Meet held from 1st to 5th November 2025 at Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, in the U-19 Girls category (SGFI School Games). She won the Gold Medal in High Jump and has been selected for the SGFI National Championship, scheduled to be held in the fourth week of November at Bhiwani, Haryana.

Carmel Convent Ratanpur excelled at the 5th St. Mariam Thresia Volleyball Tournament 2025, securing 3rd prize in the Under-19 Girls category for their outstanding performance and exemplary team spirit.

CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament (U-19 Boys)

Carmel Convent, Ratanpur, secured the 3rd position in the CBSE Cluster Basketball Tournament (U-19 Boys) held at Neill World School, Guna, Gwalior, competing among 32 participating schools.

Ms. Rashi Sharma of Carmel Ratanpur has been distinguishedly chosen for the esteemed National Games, a recognition of her remarkable achievement in the CBSE U19 Girls High Jump event. This prestigious competition, expertly hosted by GD Goenka Public School, Guna Road, Gwalior, was held from August 28 to August 31, 2025. The National Games are scheduled to convene at the renowned St. Atulanand Convent School, Varanasi, from September 10 to September 13, 2025.

INTER-SCHOOL U-19 BOYS VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION

An Inter-School U-19 Boys’ Volleyball Competition was organised at TT Nagar Stadium on National Sports Day, with 15–16 schools participating. Our school team excelled and proudly clinched the First Prize.

SGFI BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2025

The SGFI Basketball Tournament 2025 was held on 18th and 19th August 2025 at IES School, Ratibad, Bhopal. A total of 27 teams participated in the Under-19 Boys’ category, showcasing exceptional skill and sportsmanship. Demonstrating remarkable teamwork and determination, our school team emerged as the proud winners, securing the First Position. The victorious team comprised Ayush Tripathi (XII D), Atharv Vyas (XII A), Nikhil Ghungrale (XI A), Shivam (XI B), and Ayush Mishra (XI B). From Cluster to Nationals – Carmel Ratanpur Marks a Milestone! In a landmark achievement, Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, Bhopal has clinched the title in the Under-19 Boys category at the prestigious CBSE Cluster XII Volleyball Championship. The event was held from 1st to 4th August 2025 and hosted by Bonnie Foi School, Bhopal. Displaying exceptional teamwork, strength, and sportsmanship, the team secured their place in the CBSE National Volleyball Championship 2025–26, scheduled from 20th to 25th September 2025 at Dr. Kiran Saujiya Senior Secondary School, Ramaihar, Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. TRIUMPH OF TALENT

Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ratanpur, proudly clinched 3rd place in the CBSE Cluster U-14 Girls’ Volleyball Tournament 2025, held at The Oriental School, Bhopal from 15 –17 August , excelling among 20–30 schools across Madhya Pradesh.

Two cadets Anushka Mishra and Sanskriti Meena from Carmel convent senior secondary school participated in the naval camp CATC - IX 2025 held at VIT Bangrasia from 10 th to 19 th july.

Ms. Anubhuti Pandey, a Class IX NCC Cadet from 2 MP Air Squadron, has made us proud by being selected for the prestigious Republic Day Camp (RDC) in New Delhi. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer and a dedicated participant in NCC activities, she is the sole Class IX student from Bhopal Air Wing to represent in the cultural programme. This achievement reflects her hard work, discipline, and perseverance. Our Principal, Sister Rose Tom, and NCC Officer, Ms. Violet, congratulated her on this remarkable success. Following the legacy of excellence, we also recall the exceptional feat of Khushi Mahavar, honored by PM Narendra Modi in 2023 as the Best NCC Cadet of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. AIMING FOR EXCELLENCE

On 28 April ' 25 , 28 cadets from Carmel Ratanpur’s 2 MP Air Squadron visited the firing range at Hamidia College of Arts and Commerce for a practical training session. The cadets were introduced to the components of a .22 bore rifle and learned proper handling and firing techniques. Each cadet was given five rounds to fire from a distance of 25 yards, aiming at a target paper with concentric rings to score points based on accuracy. Despite the rifle’s weight of 2.41 kg, the cadets enthusiastically participated, demonstrating focus and discipline throughout the exercise. The experience provided them with valuable insight into the skills and dedication required by soldiers in the field, fostering a deeper appreciation for military service. The session concluded successfully, with the cadets gaining confidence in marksmanship and firearm safety.

ST. THOMAS CUP INTERSCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Our school emerged victorious in the prestigious St. Thomas Cup Interschool Basketball Tournament, securing the First Prize. The event witnessed intense competition among several schools, showcasing remarkable talent and teamwork. Our team displayed exceptional skill, coordination, and determination throughout the matches, outshining their opponents. This victory is a testament to the dedication of our players and the guidance of our coaches. It has not only brought pride to our school but also inspired fellow students to strive for excellence in sports. FIRING ACTIVITY AT HAMIDIA COLLEGE OF ARTS AND COMMERCE

14 cadets from Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School participated in the firing activity at Hamidia College of Arts and Commerce on 25 October 2024. The cadets were briefed by MWO Pandey , corporal Suleman. The cadets learned and had experience on how to aim, fire at the target, procedure of firing , types of firing position, how to use the .22 mark rifle. They were given 5 live rounds each. They had hands on experience with the arms and ammunition.

ST MARIAM THERESA MEMORIAL INTER SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Ratanpur, continued its winning streak by clinching the First Prize at the St. Mariam Theresa Memorial Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, organized by Holy Family Sr. Sec. School. Our volleyball team displayed outstanding coordination, strategy, and determination, outshining opponents to claim the top spot.

NATIONAL SGFI CHESS TOURNAMENT

Our school chess team participated in the SGFI State Level Chess Tournament held at Dolphin Club, Narmadapuram, M.P., from October 14-18, 2024. Abhishrey Sharma and Vikram Singh Rajput represented our school, displaying exceptional skill and strategy. Vikram Singh Rajput delivered an outstanding performance, securing a silver medal in the Under-19 category. Notably, his achievement has earned him a coveted spot in the National SGFI Chess Tournament. The CBSE Cluster XII Basketball Tournament U-17 Boys was held at IES Public School, Ratibadh, Bhopal from September 26 to October 1, 2024. CARMEL CONVENT SCHOOL EMERGES VICTORIOUS IN KHELO CHESS INDIA INTER SCHOOL CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP!

Sage School organized Khelo India Inter School Chess Tournament on 19/7/2024 in Sage International School, Kolar . A total of 210 students from 18 schools in Bhopal participated in the 2nd Khelo Chess India Inter School Chess Championship. The competition was held in three categories: Under 12 Boys, Under 19 Boys, and Girls. Carmel Convent School excelled in the Under-19 Team Championship, securing the top position with 22 points. Our school (U- 19 Boy's) got Overall championship trophy and Abhishrey Sharma secured bronze medal .The winning team comprised of Abhishrey Sharma ,Mrityunjay Gohal,Vikram Singh Rajput ,Sparsh Jain ,Sajal Shrivastava ,Naitik Maran. Niklesh Jain, Director of Khelo Chess India, presented prizes to the winners.
