A VISIT TO THE VIGYAN MELA HELD AT THE BARKATULLAH UNIVERSITY

On 29th September 2025, a delegation of students from the Young Tinker Space (YTS) and selected students from Grades 6 to 10 of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Ratanpur, Bhopal, visited the Central Government-organized Vigyan Mela at Barkatullah University. The exhibition was segmented into distinct zones, beginning with an industrial pavilion where major companies like Vardhman Yarn, HEG, and Parle Agro displayed their products and manufacturing processes. The second section featured advanced robotics from local engineering colleges, with prototypes built on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP 32 platforms, while a third segment showcased innovative projects from school students, such as smart dustbins and irrigation systems. The visit provided extensive exposure to emerging technologies like 3-D printing and drones, and the students actively engaged with exhibitors, diligently noting down key information from company representatives and collecting informational pamphlets. The accompanying faculty, comprising Ms. Sandesha Dani, Ms. Sheela Joseph, and Mr. Jaideep Mathew, ensured the students gained maximum benefit from the event. The trip concluded as a highly fruitful and inspiring experience, successfully fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and a deeper appreciation for scientific innovation among all participants.

EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO THE MADHYA PRADESH TRIBAL MUSEUM

On November 9, 2024, Carmel Convent School, Ratanpur, organized an educational visit to the Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum for 8th standard students. A total of 178 students, accompanied by six dedicated teachers, embarked on this enriching experience. During the visit, they explored various exhibits showcasing the tribe's music, art forms, traditional crafts, paintings, and indigenous games. This interactive experience provided invaluable insights into the tribal community's history, customs, and way of life, broadening the students' understanding and appreciation of India's diverse cultural tapestry. The field trip was a valuable learning experience that helped students connect with the rich cultural heritage of the tribal community.
